In addition to my storytelling and art, I have become a beekeeper. I fell in love studying and working with bees a few years ago. I’ve realized their importance to our world, and wanted to be a part of helping their species survive. It is one of the most enriching things I’ve ever done (and you get a little homegrown honey to enjoy!). I decided to combine the beekeeping with my art and started doing “pours” with bees drawn on them. I enjoy making them and they’ve become very popular with many of my friends. Needless to say, I’ve kept making them.
